Secure Elements Joins Google Enterprise Professional Program
Leader in vulnerability and compliance management now to provide next generation security decision support capability in partnership with Google

HERNDON, VA - Jan 17, 2006 - Secure Elements, Inc., a leader in enterprise vulnerability management and compliance risk reduction solutions, today announced it has been selected to join the Google Enterprise Professional program, further extending the power of Google search to the security risk and compliance management realm and helping customers achieve more value from their Google enterprise search deployments by leveraging next generation security solutions utilizing advanced search and indexing techniques.

"The Google Enterprise Program enables Secure Elements to provide advanced search and index capabilities to complement our C5 Enterprise Vulnerability Management Suite," said Ned Miller, chief executive officer for Secure Elements.  "Much press has been given to how hackers can utilize search capabilities for nefarious purposes, so we decided to identify ways to use advanced searching to advance the state of the art for decision support processes focused on assessment, compliance and remediation actions. Googles enterprise search products offer the same quality and search experience as people receive with Google.com."

"Secure Elements ability to leverage Googles capability to index and enable queries that span unstructured and structured data from the enterprises IT, security, systems configuration management infrastructure is ingenious," said Marcus Sachs, former White House IT security expert and now a deputy director in the Computer Science Laboratory at SRI International, where he supports the Washington D.C. operations of the U.S. Department of Homeland Securitys Cyber Security Research and Development Center.  "This will enable even the largest enterprises to rapidly assess their security posture with speed and relevance otherwise unobtainable, and represents the type of innovation that will drive the next generation of security solutions."

The Google Enterprise Professional program includes developers, consultants and independent software vendors that provide expertise and value-added services for Google enterprise products.

"Google is excited to have Secure Elements as a partner in the Google Enterprise Professional program," said Kevin Smith, program manager for Google Enterprise Professional.  "Were looking forward to bringing the power of Google search to the Secure Elements vulnerability and compliance management offerings for both the federal and commercial markets."
