Secure Elements CTO to Speak on Panel Addressing Continuous Monitoring with Microsoft VISTA

- Secure Elements, the industry leader in standards-based IT audit and compliance management, today announced that CTO, Andrew Bove will participate in American Council for Technology, Industry Advisory Council Government IT Speaker Series. Bove will sit on a September 5th panel addressing Continuous Monitoring and Microsoft VISTA.
Bove, along with representatives from Microsoft, the Department of Treasury, and Heath and Human Services will address the challenges associated with implementing Microsoft VISTA in accordance with federal security standards.
Secure Elements is co-author and custodian of the Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) benchmarks currently posted on the NIST web site. Boves team has worked hand-in-hand with NIST and Microsoft in developing and calibrating the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) checklists and the FDCC images and will speak to the need for and benefits of these standards and the tools that support them.
Using their experience in creating the benchmarks, Secure Elements developed the C5 Compliance Platform, the only enterprise compliance platform that has incorporated all of the latest standards as defined by NIST SCAP initiative for auditing security configurations.
