Scott Armstrong

Vice President of Marketing & Alliances

As vice president of marketing, Scott Armstrong is developing marketing programs, driving strategic and tactical product road maps, and securing strategic partnerships for Secure Elements.

He offers a wealth of enterprise software industry experience, most recently serving as the vice president of product management at Mercator Software, a NASDAQ listed company until it was acquired by Ascential Software, and most recently IBM.  During his tenure he refreshed the market leading middleware platform, implemented new processes that resulted in a 95 percent on-time product delivery rate, and achieved the highest customer satisfaction rates in the company's history. He built and led the product management team for the wireless firm Aether Systems, and has previously held executive management positions at UUnet Technologies (now  Verizon), as well as numerous venture-backed startups that include IPO and M&A successes.  In addition, he is a founding Advisory Board Member of the Technology Marketing Alliance.
