Position:  Security Labs Engineer

Security Labs Engineers represent the best and brightest in the industry, and are responsible for creation and maintenance of our XML content - threat intelligence, remediations, and OVAL/XCCDF XML based content.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and responding to new vulnerabilities identified by intel feeds.  Creation of new remediations, both patch and configuration based.  Creation of vulnerability and compliance checks.  Documenting content with descriptive, insightful prose.  Testing of actionable content to verify that they work to resolve vulnerabilities, compliance exposures, or policy violations.  Providing feedback to enhance the software tools used to perform the job.

Requirements

Proficiency in administration of Windows and/or Unix/Linux desktops and servers in 
medium and enterprise environments.  Experience as a network or security administrator.  Team player, willing to coach customers, with a sense of humility as we set the standard for the community, and the industry.

Other Skills (desired)

CISSP.  Hands on experience with VA and compliance or auditing tools.  Experience with exploits, monitoring CERT, bugtraq, etc.
