Matt Bigge

Matt Bigge is the Director of Corporate Development for Nanosys Inc. Mr. Bigge comes to Nanosys with a strong track record of technology commercialization as an entrepreneur, innovator and investor. As the co-founder and COO of MILCOM Technologies, Mr. Bigge led the acquisition and commercialization of over $1.5 billion in technology ranging from wireless to software and semiconductors. Mr. Bigge was instrumental in applying that technology to create and found over 10 product companies such as Triton Network Systems (TNSI) and Meshnetworks (Motorola). He was also served as the founding investor and Chairman of the Board of Meshnetworks. Mr. Bigge has led corporate partnerships with Fortune 500 companies such as Motorola, Nortel, and Xilinx. Mr. Bigge also has deep knowledge and experience within the defense industry having structured partnerships with Lockheed Martin, ITT Industries, Raytheon and several other corporations and federal entities.

Mr. Bigge served as a U.S. Army Ranger with a distinguished record as an Infantry officer in the 10th Mountain Division. Mr. Bigge has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Georgetown University.
